John C. Shepard, AICP; is a development professional, most recently in the Four Corners region of Colorado and New Mexico.  He has been active in land use, and community and economic development, for 25 years across the Great Plains and Rocky Mountain states.  From helping achieve adoption of a contentious update to the award-winning PlanCheyenne to helping build prosperity in rural mountain towns, Shepard is a well-rounded community steward.  John is also an amateur historian, avid outdoorsman, and occasional music critic.

Mr. Shepard is a graduate of the University of Illinois and the University of Colorado, and holds certifications from the National Development Council and the American Institute of Certified Planners.
